Find Your IP Address to Exclude Your Visits Google Analytics

by on January 26, 2011

One of the most important things to do when setting up Google Analytics is to make sure that you are excluding your / your clients offices from the results. All you need is a couple of people setting the company website as their home page and your results can be widely off. Ask most people what the IP address of their office is and quite rightly you’ll get blank faces.

Luckily does this for you. Simply visit the site and it will tell you the IP address of the router that you are accessing. You can then tell Google Analytics to exclude all the traffic coming that IP address.
